New Domain and Rebranding!
What’s with the name?
The concept for BashBurner was derived from my love and respect for the Linux community and open source. Bash (Bourne Again Shell) is the most common shell at the heart of most Linux distributions. It’s where I’ve spent most of my time learning Linux commands, shell scripts, and the versatility of command line applications.
Why BashBurner though?
I’m not a developer and that’s obvious if you’ve ever had the misfortune of seeing any of my scripts or projects. Burner is the acknowledgement that my collection of scripts and projects are nothing more than a dumpster fire of code and thoughts, and far from being anything professional or polished.
The original goal of the site was to simply be a place to document projects and use cases for various scripts or commands. If anyone else finds anything on this site to be useful then that’s just gravy.
